aerodynamic - the scientific study of how objects move through the air

anatomy – the scientific study of the structure of the body

ancestor - a member of your family who lived in past times

astronomy – the scientific study of the stars and planets

aviator – a pilot

aviation – the science or activity of flying or making aircraft

axis - the imaginary line around which something turns, for example, the earth

botany - the scientific study of plants

engineering - the profession or activity of designing, building, and repairing roads, bridges, machines, etc.

exceptional - unusually good

innovation – the introduction of new ideas, methods, or inventions, or the idea, method, or invention itself

irrational – not based on sensible or clear reasons

ornithology – the scientific study of birds

shaft - a long handle on a tool, spear, etc.

theory - an idea that explains how something works, why something happens, etc., especially one that has not been proven to be true
